Who I am
My name is Jared Wunder, and I am currently attending McMaster University for Integrated Biomedical Engineering and Health Science. I am from a small town in Alberta just outside of Calgary called Cochrane. I grew up just outside of town on a farm, as you can see from my picture, and have lived there my whole life. The end goal of my education is to graduate from medical school and become a surgeon, however, this is very far away still and my mind could always change. If I were to follow down this path I would likely follow the Health Sciences route of the Ibiomed program as it would allow more time for me to volunteer and find research opportunities. As for what I do when I'm not in a classroom or at a desk doing homework, I love to stay active by playing competitive ultimate frisbee, both with McMaster's Varsity team, as well as a men's touring team from Calgary. I also play many intramural or pick up sports such as volleyball or flag football. When I am back at home I enjoy doing anything that will get me outdoors from skiing and hiking to fishing and hunting.
